Person of Interest in Brian Thompson’s Death Arrested on Gun Charges

According to Forbes, a man was arrested on gun charges after being brought in for questioning by police in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

“Luigi Mangione, 26, has been arrested on firearms charges, New York City Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said at a press conference.''Forbes reported.

Tisch added that Mangione is “considered a person of interest in this brazen targeted murder.”

ABC News reported Mangione was traveling through Altoona on a Greyhound bus and stopped at McDonald's to eat. Breitbart News reported that he was recognized from a photo by the New York City Police Department and police were called to arrest him.

When officers arrived, they found him “in possession of a ghost gun and suppressor capable of firing 9mm rounds,” according to ABC News.

CNN said Law enforcement officials said Mangione “also had false identification documents, including one that the New York City Police Department believes he had used in New York.”
