House Republican leadership on Thursday completed the selection process to chair the House Financial Services Committee for the 119th Congress, selecting Rep. French Hill (R-Ark.) to chair the committee.
Hill is ahead of Representatives Andy Barr (R-Ky.), Frank Lucas (R-Okla.) and Bill Huizenga (R-Mich.), according to people close to the summit. He was elected as chairman of the service committee.
