Former Republican Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan said he witnessed and recorded a mysterious drone that many people have reported over the state.
Some have called for a mundane explanation for the sightings, while others have warned that the apparent drones could be foreign state actors or a threat of extraterrestrial origin. Hogan weighed in on the debate Friday from his social media accounts.
“It's no wonder people are crying out for answers, but they're not getting any.”
“Last night, beginning at approximately 9:45 p.m., I personally witnessed what appeared to be dozens of large drones over my residence in Davidsonville, Maryland (40 miles from our nation's capital). I observed the activity for approximately 45 minutes,” Hogan wrote.
He went on to criticize the federal government's silence on the potential threat of drones.
“Governments have the ability to track this information from its source, but they have been negligent. People rightly want answers, but they are not getting any,” he added.
“The White House, the military, the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security have no idea who they are, where they came from, who is launching and controlling them, and we are told they pose no threat. “There is,” Hogan said. Said.
He called the response “totally unacceptable” and called on the government to address the issue immediately.
“The American people deserve answers and action now,” he concluded.
he included some of it video recording He obviously made it with a drone.
Some point to the arrest of a Chinese national in California who took photos of U.S. military bases from a drone as evidence of a possible foreign threat to the New Jersey drone.
Hogan tried to jump from the governor's office to a Maryland Senate seat, but fell short in the most recent election. Maryland hasn't had a Republican senator since 1987.
