One of the Jets' bright spots this season has been third-year running back Breece Hall. Hall showed flashes of his ability to be a top offensive playmaker if the offense can figure out everything else. With the season lost, Hall could miss two consecutive weeks heading into the final stages of the 2024 season.

According to ESPN's Rich CiminiJets running back Breece Hall is expected to play against the Jets on Sunday. jacksonville jaguars Despite being listed as questionable. Hall missed last week with a knee injury that limited his ability to practice. Jets running backs did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. What Breece Hall's injury means for fantasy football

Fantasy football managers will be hoping Breece Hall gets healthy as fantasy playoffs begin in many leagues this week. Hall is only RB15 in PPR leagues this season, but he has the ability to have weeks at a high-end RB1 level.

Hall has been named to the top five fantasy teams three times this season: Weeks 3, 7, and 11. His matchup in Week 15 will definitely bring a lot of positives to another big fantasy week. The Jaguars have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL this season. They allow the second-most fantasy points to running backs, giving up 22.2 fantasy points per game. The Jaguars are also allowing the fifth-most EPA per rush. If Hall can play, he's a sure-fire starter in fantasy lineups.

But there appears to be some uncertainty for Hall heading into Week 15. Despite interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich expressing confidence, there is some uncertainty over Hall's status. As ESPN's Stefania Bell pointed out,

Breece Hall missed Week 14 to rest his right knee after undergoing anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgery in 2022…but this season has been more difficult. The reasons extend beyond Hall's health, but a recent setback with his knee hasn't helped… After all, Hall is a great young talent with a long and successful career ahead of him. We are at the forefront of decisions that must be made to do whatever is best. ”

If Hall is unavailable Sunday, Braylon Allen and Isaiah Davis are worth considering in the lineup. Davis has been particularly impressive over the past two weeks. The rookie out of South Dakota State University showed he can be a threat to run the ball as well as a pass catcher out of the backfield. He was RB18 the last two weeks. Allen showed some upside as the RB2 in Week 2 and as the RB23 last week.

If Hall plays, he will be required to start. That being said, Allen or Davis still offer upside as flex against this Jaguars defense. It's a hit or miss as to which one comes out, but considering Davis' recent success, he might still be worth playing.
