The Seahawks could face serious injury concerns with Geno Smith as they look to make the playoffs.
The veteran quarterback left Seattle's 23-6 loss to the Packers on Sunday night late in the third quarter with a right knee injury.
Smith ran backwards and turned his back to throw a pass when he was tackled from behind by Seahawks linebacker Edgerrin Cooper.
It was an awkward landing.
The quarterback landed hard with Cooper's hand around his ankle.
Smith tapped his helmet in frustration as he walked towards the sideline and was seen collapsing on the NBC broadcast, in visible pain.
Receiver Tyler Lockett returned to the locker room with Smith.
The former Jet and Giant underwent tests on his knee, but was unable to return to action, according to the NBC broadcast.

Sam Howell replaced Smith at center.
The Seahawks entered the game in first place in the NFC West, but lost 30-13 and fell to a tie with the Rams.
