After a brief power outage that suspended all American Airlines flights and caused delays during one of the most popular travel times of the year, the airline announced it had resumed normal operations Tuesday morning. .

American Airlines said “vendor technical issues” were responsible for delays on all flights within the United States.
The airline warned travelers just after 6:30 a.m. that it was “experiencing technical issues on all U.S. flights,” without providing further details. American Airlines later blamed the problem on a “vendor technology issue.”
