Texas man shoots 3 of 4 boys allegedly trying to rob him with BB guns on Christmas

A Texas man armed with a real gun used it to defend himself against four teenagers armed with BB guns who were allegedly trying to rob him.

Major Suarez of the Harris County Sheriff's Office said police: answered around midnight Wednesday at an apartment complex along Highway 249 in northern Harris County.

While paramedics were treating the man, they discovered two other children suffering from gunshot wounds. They were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Suarez said a preliminary investigation revealed that four children between the ages of 12 and 13 tried to rob the man, but the man turned the tables and opened fire on the children. Three people were hospitalized with gunshot wounds, and two were said to be in stable condition.

“During the incident, the juveniles approached the male and displayed a handgun. The adult male pulled out his own handgun and shot the juveniles,” Suarez said.

The 25-year-old man turned himself in to police and is cooperating with the investigation.

KPRC-TV reported that the gun the teens used was said to be a BB gun, but police could not confirm that report and said the gun recovered at the scene was being processed. only said.

Witnesses at the complex said they were shocked by the incident.
