CINCINNATI — Joe Burrow threw his third touchdown pass to Tee Higgins with 1:07 left in overtime, and the Cincinnati Bengals kept their slim playoff hopes alive with a 30-24 win over the Denver Broncos on Saturday. I stopped it.
After a Broncos punt, Burrow completed a 31-yard pass to Higgins to get to the Denver 3 and ran back to the lanky receiver for the game-ending play.
Higgins had 11 receptions for 131 yards.
With about three minutes left in overtime, Cade York gave the Bengals a chance to take the lead, but his 33-yard field goal bounced off the left upright.
Denver then went 3-and-out on third down with an incompletion by Bo Nix, giving the ball right back to Cincinnati (8-8).
It was the Bengals' first win of the season against a team with a winning record.

To advance to the postseason for the first time since 2022, they will need another win in the final game in Pittsburgh and help from other teams.
The Broncos (9-7) would have earned the AFC wild card with a victory over the Bengals.
They will have another chance to clinch a postseason berth when they host Kansas City next weekend.
