The team is competitive. Gang Green can't seem to get the job done. Most recently, the Jets lost 19-9 to the competitive Rams in Week 16.

The real-life situation for the Bills is much more positive. The 12-3 team, led by Josh Allen and others, won its fifth consecutive AFC East title on Dec. 1 and is still in the running for the conference's No. Home-field advantage would be guaranteed — if they win and the Chiefs lose the remaining games.
Either way, they need to stay extremely focused heading into Week 17. The last time Sean McDermott's Bills played against the Jets on Oct. 14, they narrowly escaped with a 23-20 victory. Sunday is not the time to let your guard down as New York is about to become a spoiler. The fact that Allen had a bad game last week against the Patriots and is potentially injured (his non-throwing hand has been broken all season) doesn't help either.
