PHOENIX, Ariz. — Political consultant Roger Stone told Breitbart News that President-elect Donald Trump's “historic watershed election” has “completely reshaped the Republican Party.”
“This is a historic watershed election,” Stone told Breitbart News about the 2024 political realignment at Turning Point USA's annual AmericaFest conference in Phoenix, Arizona, last week.
“This is like the 1932 realignment and the 1968 realignment, where you support endless foreign wars, you support censorship, you support big drug companies and big food companies do whatever they want as long as they do what they want. They think they should be allowed to do that. Those people were drawn to Kamala Harris because they were making a profit,” Stone continued.
“I'm talking about Republicans like Dick Cheney, the war criminal, the guy who took us to war by saying Iraq had nuclear weapons,” Stone said. Yes, he knew he didn't have it.”
“His daughter, who committed perjury, should, yes, be indicted for misconduct at the January 6th committee meeting,” Stone added. “All the warmongers, including the McCains, are attracted to Kamala Harris.”
Meanwhile, “sensible Democrats, independents, libertarians, and freethinkers” and “those who admire Robert Kennedy, Tulsi Gabbard, and Governor Rod Blagojevich” are calling “the party of the new working class, So I gravitated toward Donald Trump's America First party,” Stone said.
“This is a historic realignment that I think will dominate our politics for decades to come,” Stone asserted.
Asked if the “old” Republican Party is gone anymore, Stone said, “The Republican Party has been completely remade.”
“We used to be the party of war, big business, Wall Street, the financial elite, the country clubs. That party is over,” Stone said. “We are now the party of the working class and the party of middle America.”
“We are the party of lower taxes,” Stone added. “We are the party of border security, we are the party of law and order, we are the party of deregulation, we are the party of economic growth, we are the party of peace, prosperity, security and justice.”
