Hannah Cavinder is looking forward to the next chapter with boyfriend Carson Beck.
Shortly after the Georgia quarterback declared for the 2025 NFL Draft on Saturday, the Miami Hurricanes guard and social media sensation celebrated the decision on Instagram.
Cavinder, 23, commented on Beck's post sharing the news: “I'm so proud of you.”
Beck spent the past five seasons with the Bulldogs and was a two-time national champion.
The 22-year-old quarterback became Georgia's full-time starter in 2023, throwing for 3,941 yards, 24 touchdowns and six interceptions.
Beck has been underperforming this year, totaling 3,485 yards, 28 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
His final season with the Bulldogs ended in heartbreaking fashion earlier this month when he injured his elbow in Georgia's SEC Championship win over Texas.
Beck will undergo surgery and miss the College Football Playoff while he recovers.
“First, I would like to thank God for giving me the opportunity to play the game I love,” Beck began in Saturday's post. “Through the ups and downs, the highs and lows, I am forever grateful for everything this game has produced and offered. Football has taught me lessons that will last a lifetime and has helped me grow into the person I am today. He gave it to me.”
As Beck reflected on his college career, he continued to express his gratitude to his coaches, teammates, and loved ones.
“The past five years at the University of Georgia have truly been a dream come true, and I will cherish these memories forever. To everyone at Dawg Nation, thank you for having me here and Thank you to everyone who supported and believed in me. It's been an incredible journey and all these moments ultimately led me to the next step in my football career,” he concluded. .
Beck confirmed his relationship with Cavinder this summer.
“A lot has changed since 2021.” he said He said this in an interview with ESPN published in August. “As you know, I've been through a lot, both personally and through football. Not playing, sitting and waiting, and then last season being able to start. Looking back today, now… When I look back on my position, I am very grateful for the position I am in.”
Cavinder returned to school while Beck looked to turn professional.
She and her twin sister Haley Cavinder are playing for the Hurricanes again after making the Elite Eight in the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
Cavinder announced his return to Miami in April after missing last season.
“When I made the decision to stop playing, I was excited to get more involved in the business and brand that we're a part of,” she told the Post in July. “But as I watched Haley train and prepare for the season, I realized I wasn't ready to stop playing. I know I won't be able to play. Being with my sister is a great way to end my career.”
