DC Mayor finds 'common ground' with President Trump
Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser said Monday that she and President-elect Trump “had an excellent meeting discussing our shared priorities” for the next term. Previously controversial relationship It culminated in the 2020 George Floyd riots.
“Both President Trump and I want Washington, D.C. to be the greatest and most beautiful city in the world, and we want our nation's capital to reflect the strength of our nation,” Bowser said.
