Four teenagers were arrested Sunday for allegedly taking a 13-year-old girl hostage in a New Jersey hotel room and attempting to sexually assault her at gunpoint, authorities said.
Police rescued the girl that morning from a hotel on Passaic Avenue in Harrison, where she was allegedly physically assaulted by the group, held against her will and locked in a room, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office. He said he was there.
Prosecutors said the young victim said four teenagers tried to sexually assault her and told police they had guns.
During a court-approved search of the room, officers recovered two handguns and hollow-point ammunition and arrested four Newark teenagers.
The two 15-year-old girls are charged with kidnapping, simple assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, conspiracy to kidnap, attempted sexual assault, possession of a prohibited device (hollow point bullet) and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. has been done. One of the girls was also charged with aggravated assault.
Their names have not been released because they are both minors, and they are being charged as juveniles.
Two 18-year-olds, Tayvin McCullough and Kyle Green, were both charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon endangering the welfare of a child and possession of a prohibited device (hollow point ammunition). He was indicted.
