HuffPo Spreads Conspiracy Theory that ‘Trump Stokes Hate’ About NOLA Terror Attack

huffpo is absurd Claim The theory that President-elect Trump incited hatred for the New Year's terrorist attack in New Orleans may be the first anti-Trump conspiracy theory of 2025.

The headline read, “Trump incites hatred with false innuendo about New Orleans truck attack suspect.”

“President-elect shared anti-immigrant misinformation on the heels of inaccurate reporting on Fox News,” the subheader incorrectly read.

This stupid hysteria is premised on the following part of the Trump statement released on Wednesday (via Truth Social) shortly after news of the terrorist attack broke:

When I said that the criminals coming in were far worse than the criminals in our country, that statement was constantly refuted by the Democratic Party and the fake news media, but it turned out to be true.

Trump later released a second statement that read:

This is what happens in open borders with weak, inefficient and virtually non-existent leadership. The Justice Department, FBI, and Democratic state and local prosecutors are failing in their responsibilities. They are incompetent and corrupt, and instead of focusing on protecting the American people from outside and inside the violent scum that pervades every aspect of our government and the nation itself, He has spent his time illegally attacking my political opponents. Democrats should be ashamed of themselves for allowing something like this to happen to our country. The CIA must get involved now, before it's too late. America is falling apart – a violent erosion of safety, national security, and democracy is occurring across the country. Only strength and strong leadership can stop it.

President Trump's initial statement was based on false initial reports that the vehicle used in the terrorist attack had recently crossed the border from Mexico. It turned out that the truck was rented and had crossed the border in mid-November. So this car was most likely not being driven by a terrorist (my favorite kind) who was supposedly dead at the time. Additionally, the terrorist suspect who died was an American citizen.

Fine, fine, fine…if you want to “fact check” Trump on that particular point, fire away. Okay, Captain, you missed the point.

First, claiming that President Trump's tweets “incite hatred” or are “anti-immigrant” is completely ridiculous. Calling for stronger border security is not inciting hatred. Second, the media refuses to make this distinction because they know it damages the debate, and like any sane person, Trump is anti-illegal immigration. It's not anti-immigrant. Wasn't it just a few days ago that President Trump announced his support for legal immigration? That's right, that's right.

Second, it would be interesting to see who radicalized this deceased terrorist suspect. This ISIS ideology is not homegrown. It is imported across borders in human and online form. If he was radicalized at the mosque, were the people who influenced him American-born or were they introduced into our society like a cancer?

HuffPo is not trying to correct or fact-check President Trump. HuffPo believes it is off-limits because it is still 2015 and they can use lies and racist hysteria to make the debate about illegal immigration and border protections into a racial issue. Masu.

HuffPo wants America to be filled with illegal aliens and doesn't care if they are murderers or terrorists. Terrorists and murderers will always be welcome on HuffPo as long as blue states vote Democratic to inflate the 2030 census so they don't lose electoral votes or Congressional seats as Americans flee.

But these racist attacks no longer work. Not in 2015.
