At a time when Los Angeles is on fire, lives are at risk, and billions in property have already been destroyed, I don't really care about the sexuality of the leadership of the Los Angeles Fire Department. But for gay activists, breaking the glass ceiling still seems to be the only thing on their minds.
Gay agitprop website Pride.com published a very tone-deaf article about the fire on Wednesday afternoon, claiming that Los Angeles' “first LGBTQ+ fire chief proves it's OK to be lesbian.”
“The stereotype that lesbians are always prepared for emergencies – we all know the queer woman who never leaves the house without her Leatherman multi-tool and carabiner – is being challenged by Los Angeles’ first LGBTQ+ public That also applies to Fire Chief Christine Crowley, who is overseeing the rescue efforts of firefighters to stop the Palisades fire,'' the outlet surprisingly reported.

OK — even if this is true, why should we care? The Alphabet Mafia seems to defy stereotypes in every way, unless it's unflattering. But just as I am opposed to negative stereotypes, I am equally opposed to the idea that we should automatically credit leaders with their effectiveness because of what they say.
But even that fundamental claim is false. Crowley is not “done” and is far from it. With over $10 billion in insured losses already and no end in sight, DEI ideologues are proving to be reaping what they sow. Crowley has no qualifications to be a leader. Her defenders may point out that she has worked her way through the department's bureaucracy for decades. Sure, she has experience. But she still entered with her ideology shining through, strangely prioritizing “diversity, equity, and inclusion” as part of the department's core mission. Obviously, the fire department's only mission is to extinguish fires. To state otherwise is essentially a disqualification.
Crowley could spit jets of water out of his fingertips like a superhero, but it still didn't matter. Even when she's talking about racial and gender ideology while putting out fires, she's only half-focused on the latter. And she is too incompetent as a leader.
