Bronx fire leaves 7 injured as 200 firefighters respond to five-alarm blaze

About 200 New York firefighters were battling a massive five-alarm fire at a Bronx apartment building Friday morning, leaving at least seven people injured.

A large fire broke out at a six-story residential building at 2910 Wallace Avenue in the East Bronx just before 1:40 a.m., fire officials said, and the FDNY said video footage showing the building engulfed by flames shooting from the roof. They responded by showing disturbing footage of the incident.
