Bank earnings season kicks off Wednesday morning with announcements from several major financial institutions. Citigroup is up 11% from three months ago. The stock is slightly off last week's high. Goldman Sachs rose 9.3% in three months. It is 6.7% from its peak on November 29th. JPMorgan is up about 12% over the past three months. The stock is down 3.7% from its November 25 high. Wells Fargo is up 14.5% in three months. It is 8.88% from the November 26th high. Bank of New York Mellon is flat for the first time in three months. The stock is up 8% from its Nov. 29 high. BlackRock has fallen nearly 3% in the past three months. That's 11% from the December 11th high. CNBC TV's Leslie Picker will provide numbers, market reaction and details from the conference call. The SPDRS&P Bank ETF (KBE) is up 2.55% in three months and 12% from its November 25th high. The S&P Financial sector has risen 3.2% in three months and is up 6% from its November high. GS 3M Mountain for the Past 3 Months Goldman Sachs Goldman Sachs CD Goldman Sachs has a 6 month CD with a yield of 4.15%. The yield on US one-month Treasury bills is 4.32%. The yield on six-month T-bills in the United States is approximately 4.34%. Daily Quantum Computing Updates Given the volatility, you may need more than daily updates, but this is the best I can do. Righetti Computing soared about 48% on Tuesday. It is 58% from its peak on January 6th. Quantum computing rose 14%. This is 72% from the December 18th high. On Tuesday, D-Wave Quantum rose 23.5%. It is 58% from its December 27th high. Ion Q increased by about 6%. The stock is down 46% from its January 7th high. Quantum Corporation rose 7% on Tuesday. This is 75% from the December 27th high. Archit Quantum rose 7.6%. This is 65% from the December 27th high. RGTI 1M Mountain Over the Past Month Righetti Computing Home Builders S&P The Home Builders industry regained some momentum today, rising about 3%. The group as a whole is down 25% from its October 18 high. The SPDR S&P Home Builders ETF (XHB) is up 15% from its November high. Retailer SPDR S&P Retail ETF (XRT) is up 8.5% from its Nov. 25 high. It has fallen nearly 7% in one month. It has fallen 6.4% since the day after Thanksgiving. Signet Jewelers had a bad day after a weak holiday sales season. The jewelry chain is down 42% since the day after Thanksgiving. Guess has fallen 20% since the day after Thanksgiving. Coles' new CEO Ashley Buchanan will start on Wednesday. He inherited a 14% drop in stock prices since the day after Thanksgiving. Macy's has fallen 12% since the day after Thanksgiving. Since the day after Thanksgiving, Gap has fallen 6.5%. Mall operator Simon Property Group has fallen 5.5% since the day after Thanksgiving.
