On Thursday, CNN anchor Jim Acosta opined on “The Newsroom” that press freedom is not only important to democracy. He said, “That's democracy.”
The hyperbolic anchor also declared that the media is not the “enemy of the people.”
“I want to talk a little bit about what President Biden said in his farewell address. He warned that freedom of the press is collapsing in this country,” Acosta said.
