O'Reilly: Trump's past mob dealings prepared him to handle Putin

Former news anchor Bill O'Reilly said President-elect Trump's past dealings with mobs prepared him for tough negotiations with foreign leaders like Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. I think it has become.

O'Reilly said that as a New York City real estate mogul, President Trump was willing to sit down and talk to the mob because he knew they had the power to derail his plans.

“Trump didn't break any laws, but he knew that the mob was in control of the cement union workers and everything else,” O'Reilly said in an upcoming special, “Trump's United States.” '' he told NewsNation's Leland Wittert.

O'Reilly added: “He'll talk to anyone, even President Trump, if he can get what he wants from them.”

That experience, he continued, could be of great benefit to the next president, who begins his second term next week.

“He has no guilt whatsoever,” O'Reilly said. “President Putin is one of the worst people on the planet. President Trump and President Putin have a pretty good relationship.”

The veteran news host also believes President Trump's willingness to have difficult conversations will lead to a deal on Ukraine “pretty quickly.”

Watch the entire special interview with O'Reilly, who has spent countless hours with President Trump over three decades, airing this Friday at 9pm EST on NewsNation.
