On Friday, Tennessee Republican Rep. Todd Warner introduced House Bill 217, which would rename Nashville International Airport in honor of President Trump.

“In my lifetime, our country has never been greater under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump,” Reschenthaler previously told FOX News Digital.

“There is no greater symbol of freedom, prosperity and strength than hearing 'Welcome to Trump International Airport' as millions of domestic and international travelers travel through our airports and land on American soil. there is no.”

If passed, it would be the second airport in the Washington, D.C., area to be named after a Republican commander-in-chief, following Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Arlington, Virginia.

“It makes sense that we would do the same thing for another great president,” Rep. Barry Moore (R-Ala.) previously told Fox News Digital.

Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) echoed Moore's sentiments, saying, “What better recognition could there be than naming both airports in our nation's capital after two of America's greatest presidents?” “DCA is named after President Reagan, and Dulles is named after President Trump.”
