President Donald Trump will appear online Thursday at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, addressing globalist elites in what is expected to be his first major foreign policy announcement.
As reported by Breitbart News, President Trump's virtual appearance before his annual gathering in Switzerland comes as he addressed Russian President Vladimir Putin on social media over the Ukraine issue. The meeting came after he said negotiations should begin immediately. Otherwise, he says, they should face taxes, tariffs and sanctions.
The new president's live video appearance gave banking and oil industry CEOs an opportunity to ask questions of Trump, a successful businessman who made his fortune in real estate.
AFP memo He has already given Davos a taste of what's to come since taking office on Monday, which coincided with the first day of the WEF: tariff warnings for Mexico and Canada, the U.S. withdrawal from the Paris climate accord, and the World Health Organization. It is a threat to The Panama Canal, just to name a few.
His plans to cut taxes, downsize the federal government, deregulate industry, and eliminate woke ideology from all spheres of government have attracted the attention of supporters and opponents alike.
Mr. Trump will be joined by Bank of America Chief Executive Brian Moynihan, Blackstone Investment Company President Stephen Schwartzman, Spanish group Banco Santander's Executive Chairman Ana Botín, and French Oil and Gas Co. They will be quizzed by Patrick Pouyanne, the head of major company Total Energy, and others.
Argentina's liberal President Javier Milei, one of the Republican president's biggest supporters on the world stage, is also scheduled to speak at the WEF on Thursday, hours before Trump.
“The world should celebrate the arrival of President Trump,” Milley said Wednesday at a Bloomberg event.
“The golden age he proposes for America will put an end to the woke ideology that is doing so much harm to the planet and will shine a light on the whole world,” Milley said.
According to the meeting schedule, Trump is scheduled to give a speech and engage in dialogue at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time (16:00 Japan time).
