For the first time in nearly half a century, Knicks have two All -Star Starters.
The NBA has announced that Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns have been nominated by the Eastern Conference Team in the February 16th match in San Francisco.
The other East Starters are as expected, and, of course, Jeannis Antettomo, Jason Tatum, and Donovan Mitchell. The west starters are Nicola Jokich, Steph Curry, Chay Gilgaus Alexander, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant.
Before starting with the same All -Star game, the two nicks were the 1975 Clyde Frame and Art Monroe.
For Branson, after his debut last season, it is the second All -Star Selection.
Knix captains have 26 points on average and the highest career of 7.3 assists.
New York (29-16) is 3rd in the east and is a pace to win 53 games.
In the case of town, it is the fifth all -star selection, but at first it is a starter.
Along with Jokich, James, Durant, Cawilenard, and Anthony Davis, it was more difficult to start on the west side.
But Towns also enjoys his best rebound season, leading 13.9 meetings for each game.
He is an average of 25.1 points (the best since 2019-20), the first KristAps Porzingis since Tyson Chandler (KristAPS PORZINGIS was a power forward in 2018).
