Police are still searching for the suspect after a deranged maniac stabbed a fellow passenger repeatedly on a northbound 5 train in the Bronx on Sunday morning.
The 25-year-old victim was stabbed multiple times in the body by an unknown assailant while riding a train near Grand Concourse and East 149th Street, law enforcement sources told the Post.

Police were on the scene by 11:01 a.m. after receiving a 911 call. The victim was taken to New York City Health Hospital in Lincoln in critical but stable condition.
Police said the suspect, a dark-skinned male, fled the scene. It was not immediately clear whether the men knew each other.
The suspect was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, black vest, black pants and black shoes. Police have not yet identified him, but said the investigation is continuing.
The stabbings come on the heels of 2024 being the city's deadliest year for subways, tying 2022 for the most murders in the past 25 years, with 10 straphangers killed.
