Ricki Lake given replacement for one of ‘many priceless things’ she lost in LA fires

Ricky Lake is grateful for his great support, including receiving special gifts since losing his house earlier this month due to Los Angeles fire.

Lake explained on his Instagram page on Sunday that one of the fires lost, “very painful,” was a photo album when his son Owen gave birth in 2001.

She, a former talk show, recorded her birth in the documentary “The Business of Being Born”, but also had a “beautiful album” that collected photos at the time.

Lake said last weekend that his home was burned down on a fire, and one of his birth Doula, Jennifer Rixon, told him that he provided a copy of his son's birth.
