Trump says Microsoft in talks to acquire TikTok

President Donald Trump said on Monday that Microsoft has been discussing to acquire Titoku shortly after the Social Media app has become dark last week. He further suggested to see a bidding war on a popular platform.

Mr. Trump had previously discussed the potential acquisition of Tactoku, which has about 170 million American users, and hopes to determine the future of the app within the next 30 days. Reuters reported.

This app was temporarily offline just before the law. This was enforced on January 19, demanding that it would be sold or banned. However, after taking office on January 20, Trump signed the Presidential order and made the law until the 75th.

The law was implemented, with the concerns that the app misused the user's data.
