Pete Alonso has one free agency red flag bigger than the rest

Pete Alonso's free storm was incomplete.

He was in the wrong place to maximize his value.

He entered the market from the worst season. He was just 30 years old, so he had a qualifying offer and a draft pick -up compensation. Many teams have narrowed down potential forwater candidates because they use it as a reason to use the uncertainty about local TV dollars. Davids Stars and his philosophy (among other items) emphasize that they are firmly emphasizing Mets's baseball business. Steve Cohen has already supported several mega peyolols and now wants to be more suppressed. Mets signed Juan Soto and juice for the attack, and came from the year of Mark Biettos's Chess Peace -Breakout so that he could move to one Base across diamonds.

It will all be harmful to Alonso's market, but the biggest work is that there is no time for a free agency in half a century.
