Ryan Ohara was identified as a Black Hawk helicopter crew collision with an American airport near Ronald Reagan Airport in Washington DC.
The father of Ryan Ohara and Gary Ohala, a pilot of the U.S. Army Blackhawk, explained that the crew he flew was one of the “perhaps” and “Ryan's most respected pilot”. 。
“He trusted them in his life,” he said. I said CBS News.
“It's very impressive to see other soldiers taking him with a drape flag and salute, but to sit there and think it's my small boy -it crushes. He is, “he continued.
CBS News will continue:
29 -year -old Ryan Ohara grew up in the Atlanta area and joined high school ROTC, despite being not a military family. He joined when he was 18 years old. I chose the army, especially because I provided the opportunity to work for a black hawk helicopter.
After a tour in Afghanistan, Ohala said that his family was relieved when Ryan was assigned to Fort Berbore in Virginia, just outside the country's capital. He lived in the Washington area with his wife and his 1 year old son.
“I was worried when he was in Afghanistan. When he was on the soil in the United States, you disappointed your guard,” he added.
“Ryan was one of the most dedicated, disciplined, and dedicated soldiers I've been working for.” I said。
“He was mainly interested in the crew's safety. The people he trained. He wanted everyone to work perfectly and return home safely.” The warrant manager continued.
“I flew these routes hundreds of times in DC. There is a very harsh procedure. This is a very highly controlled environment,” Muehlendorf said.
