Body of second woman found in search for missing sisters in Aberdeen | Aberdeen

The second woman's body was discovered last month in a search of two missing sisters in Abadine.

Eliza and Henrietta Husty, who were 32 years old, were originally seen on a CCTV near Dee at Avadine Port early on January 7, and walked along the river.

Women's bodies were collected from the river around 8:00 am on Friday, and the formal identification has not yet been made, but the sister's family is informed.

At around 9:05 pm on Friday, the officer found the second body in the river area near Victoria Bridge. The woman has not been identified yet, but has been informed by the Huszti family.

Police Scotland said that inquiries were continuing, but there was no obvious situation.

SUPT DAVID HOWIESON states:

“I know how much this has been in Aberden, and I would like to thank everyone who supported us.”
