Minnesota's chairman Ken Martin was elected on Saturday to serve as the next chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC).
Martin, a long -time chairman of the Minnesota Democratic Party's Fara Ball Party, has secured more than 246 votes out of 428 DNC members, according to multiple reports.
Martin reconstructs the party's image following the loss of a very many worker -class voters, in which the Democratic Party has “returned to the basics” and moves to political rights, and President Donald Trump exercises the United States again. It is reported that he has expressed his desire to see.
During the race, Martin was considered one of the Front Runners for Wisconsin's party chairman Ben Wikler and former Governor Maryland, Martin Omary (D). Several other candidates also ran in that position.
“It is my warranty to you to get a great idea from all the candidates in this (DNC) race. We will bring them to this great party,” Martin was elected. Talk to the members. Their next chair.
“We will unify this party together. We are all intended to build this party together.”
Martin further, “We have one team. Democrats, and we have one battle. There is no battle, it is there.”
Later, Martin pledged to fight President Trump and added, “The current battle is for Donald Trump and the billionaire who bought the country.”
Last month, the running mate has approved Martin as the next Democratic National Committee chairman of the Former Vice President Camara Harris (D) of the Governor of Minnesota (D).
“In Minnesota, Ken has built a nationwide model to select the Democratic member in a competitive state,” said Walz. “I've seen Ken's leadership is acting, but that's exactly what the next DN is needed.[C] chair. “”
