whole WNBA Landscape has changed dramatically over the past 10 days, and some of the top players in the league switched the team (Alyssa Thomas, Kelsey Plum, Jewell Loyd, Satou Sabally), like Connecticutsan and Phoenix Mercury. The team that resets completely.
The roster has not been set before next season, but we have won the entire WNBA draft during the chip -off, but let's look at the winners and losers of the WNBA Free Agency as soon as possible.
Winner: Kate Lin Clark and Indian Fever
FEVER has been fresh since the first playoff appearances since 2016, and Caitlin CLARK and ALIYAH BOSTON are almost certainly head -ups in the league, and have entered a good position for a free agency. Ta. But things look good only in early February. They re -signed the scoring of the scorehouse Kelsea Mitchell and the 3 & D wing Sophie Kaningham, added a former Defense Player of the Year, and signed a veteran Dwannabona. Ta.
These are three major acquisitions. In particular, it is a fresh bonor from another all -star season. And since the decorated head coach Stephanie White is on the steering, the heat is fully arranged to put it all together. Oh, they announced that they are building the largest cutting -edge practice facility in the league.
The first off -season of Clark on the WNBA was a front office master class on how to use limited windows, which have generational talent. Other front offices need to take notes.
Loser: Golden State Valkylies
VALKYRIES, the latest franchise of WNBA, seems to be working on the biggest target of free agencies. Next, it seems that you have to roll in the list selected in the December expansion draft. For a while, the Golden State seemed to be a plausible destination of Kel Sypram. However, instead, the plum was exchanged for Los Angeles and became a sparks franchise face. Despite the great investment from the brand new facilities and ownership, the free agent seems to have been silent about the league's 2025 expansion team. In 2026, they give them another bite with Apple, but next year's list is not currently established.
Winner: Alyssa Thomas and Phoenix Mercury
Mercury completely shakes last year's team. I exchanged Natasha Cloud and Rebecca Allen (Connecticut) with Sophie Kaningham (Indiana) and saw Britney Grinner walking to Atlanta in a free agency. However, last year's team was sweeped in the first round of the playoffs, so it may have been necessary to shake up. Phoenix has won both Alyssa Thomas and Satou Sabally through Trade, two of the top players of WNBA.

Thomas and Sabaling were the top players in the market. Therefore, acquiring both is a large victory in itself. And it is still unknown how the new trio mesh, but there are three attack engines that are threats to both ends in Savary, Thomas and Copper. And for Thomas and Sabaling, those who have not played in organizations with their own practice facilities will also work as a lifestyle to participate in mercury.
Loser: Connecticut Sun fan
Next year's Connecticutsan is not similar to last year's elite team. Dynamic backcoat between Dajonai Calington and Thai Harris will be played next to Dallas Wings next season. Even the backup point guard Veronica Burton will not be the sun next season after being selected as the VALKYRIES extension draft.
There are promising players in next year -Tina Charles, the best leader in the league, signed the sun, Marina Mabley returned to the second season, and Natasha Cloud is an electric guard and elite defender. Connecticut also signed Diamond Desield and acquired Lindy Allen from Chicagoskai.
Many anticipated that the new era would be emphasized by fresh Calington from the most improved player awards. The persistent defender, Rising Star Carrindon, was sent to Dallas and gave another blow.
Winner: Jewell Loyd (and Ace of Las Vegas)
Jewel Lloyd spent his entire career in Seattle and then demanded trade from Arashi. And so she would have landed anywhere. But Lloyd ends with one of the best organizations of WNBA, where she combines her fellow team USA teammates A'JA WILSON, CHELSEA Gray, and Jackie Young. ACE is one of the most respected coaches in Becky Hamon, the most respected coach, its own practice facility, and has a large investment from ownership and Las Vegas. Lloyd will still get a lot of aggressive opportunities, but since he plays with three MVPs in Wilson, she will definitely not be able to bring out the same type of defense that faced in Seattle.

This trade did not have a slam dunk free agency, but is still a great victory for ace in a good form in 2025. Given that Kelsea Plum wants to be in a new chapter of her career, it is as good as Las Vegas wants Jewel Lloyd in return. Lloyd is one of the elite scorers in the league, and she may be upgraded on the plum. Now, Ace wants to be able to re -sign the sixth player of the Eyes Fanney Haze in 2024.
