Menphis, Tennessee -San Antoniospaz vs Menphis Grizzlizzes I participated in a fan who defeated the coatside on Monday night.
The team was preparing for the opening chip -off when attention was paid to the coatside seat. Both teams were sent back to the locker room with the game late, and Medic worked on the man on the floor.
The man was taken away from the stretcher arena about 7 minutes later.
“We are sending our thoughts and prayers to our involved individuals, and we are grateful to the first responders and medical staff who provided the necessary care,” said Grizzly's Spokesman.
Memphis coach Taylagenkins cited privacy issues and were limited in comments after the match, but the organization said, “I want the best.”
The game started after 45 minutes.
Mike Miller, a sports agent sitting near the fans, noticed something wrong and called for the authorities.
“It was terrible,” Miller said. “After he was talking to the people, the national anthem occurred and he didn't.”
After the Glizries won 128-109, several players said the situation affected them when they returned to court.
“My energy has shifted a little,” said Spurs Rookie Stephon Castle. “I started the game really slowly. My heart was everywhere, especially in the basketball environment.”
GG Jackson said he had experienced a similar situation when he was young with his grandfather during the church worship.
“My first instinct was to go straight to pray,” he said, and when Grizzlies returned to the locker room, they snuggled for the man.
“There was a big prayer led by GG,” said Ja Morant, Memphis's guard. “Then we returned here and wanted the best. We pray for the best.”
Spurs provisional coach Mitch Johnson said that everyone understands very much in terms of the situation. He said that the team returned to each locker room and gave the first response to “time and space.”
Johnson said he did not know if there were any consideration to cancel the game.
“I am convinced that there were many conversations because medical situation was a priority at some point,” he said. “We were just playing the game waiting and waiting to tell us what they thought was the most appropriate.”
