Susan Collins Senator Senator (R Main) announced on Monday that she would support Tarci Gavad and become a national information director (DNI), which was important to promote her confirmation.
Collins was regarded as an important swing voting of the Senate Intelligence Committee. This will meet on Tuesday afternoon because there is a possibility of advance the Gabard for the floor voting. Last month, Collins expressed reservations about Gabard.
However, in a statement on Monday, she pointed out the support of Gabbard for reducing the scale and scale of the DNI, and said that former Democrat had relieved concerns about her attitude toward Edward Snowden.
“After a wide range of her nomination, I support Tarushi Gabard to become the director of the national information,” said Collins. “The office of the Director of the National Information Bureau is much larger than it is designed, and Gavado shares my vision of returning the institution to the intended size.”
“Through my questions in my office discussions and public hearing, and her explanation at the Senate's Intelligence Committee's closed hearing, Gabaddo's view was about her opinion on Edward Snoden. Collins said, “said Collins. “I am looking forward to cooperating with Gabard to strengthen our national security.”
Since the AYE column has Collins, all precautions are shifted to Senator Todd Yang (R-Ind.), which is considered to be another GOP swing voting in the panel.
Young pushed the Gabard while confirming whether Snoden, a leak who turned into a former National Security Bureau, was a traitor.
President Trump's allies, Elon Musk, attacked Young as a “deep state puppet” on a social platform X on the weekend. He deleted the post following the conversation with the Indiana Republican member and eagerly talked about him.
