Trump invites Indian PM Modi to White House

President Trump has confirmed with the White House officials to invite Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi next week to the White House for visiting.

Modi travels to Washington DC for a two -day visit. The invitation will come a few days after a recent phone between the two leaders.

The “Producer Call” has expanded the US and India's cooperation on many global issues, including security in the Indian Pacific, Middle East, and Europe.

On the phone, White House stated in a statement that Trump emphasized the importance of “India increasing the procurement of US -made security equipment and moving towards a fair two -country trading relationship.”
