A reality TV couple who appeared on “Chrisley Knows Best” seeks pardon from President Trump after being convicted of plotting to fraudulent banks from millions of dollars.
Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted in 2022 of conspiracy to fraud the Bank of Atlanta of more than $30 million. Todd was eventually sentenced to 12 years in prison, and his wife was slapped at the age of seven.
“They believe they will seriously consider both Julie and Todd Chrisley as a result of the unfair treatment the president has received in the criminal justice system,” said Jay Surgery, the pair's lawyer. Told to NBC News.
Surgent said the irregularities in Chrisleys' federal investigations violated constitutional rights.
Since taking office, President Trump has made it clear that he is open to granting tolerance to individuals who believe he is bound by the railroad by a weaponized federal justice system. This includes more than 1,500 pardons and commutes for convictions related to the January 6th riots, particularly on the last day of his first term on January 6th.
Trump also floated a pardon to Mayor Eric Adams, who widely suggested that his federal accusation had been launched after speaking about the issue of immigration in New York.
Surgent said within four months it will be filed on behalf of Chrisleys.
Chrisleys is all a passionate Trump supporter, and the issue of tolerance has boiled for years. Their daughter, Savannah Chrisley, spoke at the Republican Congress in Milwaukee in 2024, and made a passionate plea to her parents' case.

“Because of our public profile and conservative beliefs, they accused my parents of scams when we were scammed by truly fraudulent business partners,” she said.
“Chrisley Knoses Best” aired on the USA Network from 2014 to 2023, focusing on the lives of Chrisleys, a wealthy southern family.
