While the Knicks dragged 13 at halftime, Thibodeau inserted Miles McBride with a start unit to open the third quarter in place of starter Precious Acuwa.
The move almost worked when the Knicks opened half and slammed the Boston lead on the three, but they couldn't keep up with that momentum with the ugly 131-104 loss of the Celtics in the yard.
