FEMA employees set to be fired over ‘egregious’ payment for NYC migrants

Four Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) employees sent $59 million to New York City on Tuesday to be fired for caring for illegal immigrants, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

“Four employees have been fired for circumventing leadership and unilaterally making terrible hotel payments for immigrants in New York City,” a DHS official told Fox News in a statement.

The massive payments were blown up by Elon Musk, a new division of government efficiency.

“The money is intended to help America with disaster relief and instead spends it on high-end hotels for illegals,” Musk posted on X on Monday.

“Today's clawback demand will be made to get back these funds,” he added.
