Female accused of DWI allegedly rear-ends truck, leaves it badly damaged. Cops don’t need to travel far to nab suspect.

A woman was accused of driving while drunk early Saturday morning after Texas officials I said She retreated the marked police vehicle.

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office said special traffic investigators responded to a car accident at 2:44am in the 5300 block of El Paso Railroad Drive.

“The crash highlights the risks that drunk drivers pose to law enforcement officials and the public,” Sheriff Oscar Ugarte said.

The crash was found to be linked to the El Paso County Office Patrol Unit and the Black Audi A4, marked by the El Paso County Constable from School District 1.

Authorities said deputies from Parliament 1 were heading north along the railway drive and making a call to drive. The emergency lights on the patrol vehicle were activated and were moving at a “slower pace than normal traffic.”

However, officials said an Audi driver crashed into the rear of the patrol vehicle, causing serious damage to the rear of the patrol vehicle.

The aide was taken to the University Medical Center for evaluation, but was released soon and was on track, officials said.

Audi driver Kimberly Dominguez, 24 – Authorities said they maintained serious front-end damage but were placed in DWI arrest on a $2,000 bond. She also had an unpaid warrant to drive without a license without carrying a $375 bond, officials added.

“The crash highlights the risks that drunk drivers pose to law enforcement officials and the public,” Sheriff Oscar Ugarte said.

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office has also warned drivers to make responsible decisions, designate calm drivers and stay vigilant, particularly around emergency vehicles with activated lights. Authorities encouraged anyone who witnessed reckless or disabled driving to report such cases immediately.
