“Secondly, your company covers a variety of sectors regulated by the FCC, from cable to high-speed internet, broadcast television stations to MVNOs. [mobile virtual network operator] Wireless offerings,” he continued.

“NBCuniversal has similar DEI initiatives, including executives who are dedicated to promoting DEI across television and executives who are particularly dedicated to the programming side of the business,” he added.

“However, promoting strange forms of discrimination cannot be squared with a reasonable interpretation of federal law,” he said.

“We are under investigation by the Federal Communications Commission and will work with the FCC to answer questions. For decades, we have built on the foundation of integrity and respect for all our employees and customers. It's here,” Comcast said in a statement from Newsmax.

Shortly after the start of Trump's administration, Kerr announced the end of the agency's Biden-era Day policy.
