DOGE Discovers $1.9 Billion HUD Money ‘Misplaced’ By Biden Administration

$1.9 billion has been “misplaced” by the Biden administration, the government's Department of Efficiency (DOGE) released this week detailing surprising findings.

“After being left behind during the Biden administration due to a broken process, $1.9 billion in HUD money has just been recovered,” Doge posted a screenshot of the receipt, revealing in X.

“These funds were allocated for the management of financial services, but were no longer needed. @SecretaryTurner and @Doge will work together to fix the issue so that the Treasury can use it for other uses. We have fired the funds that have become “,” added Doge.

The announcement came out with the Doge Task Force at the Housing and Urban Development Agency (HUD) shortly after Turner.

“We are pleased to announce the Doge Task Force here at HUD,” Turner, who was confirmed in the Senate earlier this month, said in a video posted to X on February 13th.

“We will be extremely detailed and discreet about all the dollars spent serving tribal, rural and urban communities across America,” he said.

“President Trump's leadership, as always, business is not the attitude we take anymore, but with the help of Doge, we identify and eliminate all waste, fraud and abuse. I will,” he vowed. “We have already identified $260 million in savings, but there is still more to achieve.”

Doge also announced on Friday that letters were sent to all 50 states' ministries of education to “notify us that there will be 14 days to remove all DEI programming in all public schools.”

“Institutions that do not comply may face loss of federal funds,” Doge warned, attaching the letter.
