Democrat: Vance used 'same language' as Hitler did to 'justify' Holocaust

Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.) criticized Vice President Vance for the rhetoric he used in addressing European leaders at last week's Munich Security Conference.

“He was talking about the enemy within. This is part of the same language that Hitler used to justify the Holocaust,” Moulton said. I said it on Monday Appearing on MSNBC.

During Vance's first international trip while in the office, he made it a point to stop by the Dachau concentration camp a day before his speech. The site was the first of its kind led by the German Nazi Party to torture political prisoners.

His lectures to his European counterparts focused primarily on denounceing the ramp-out movement of undocumented immigrants and the silence of those with opposition.

“Voters on this continent went to the ballot boxes and opened the locks to millions of uninhabited immigrants,” Vance said during his speech.

“All across Europe, they vote for political leaders who promise to put an end to Control's migration,” he continued. You don't need to agree with me, I just think people care. ”

Moulton described the speech as “out of touch,” saying it would “sell out of Ukrainians.”

“I think a lot of our Americans were totally embarrassed because VP Vance actually offered a sly lecture on the fundamental doctrine of democracy for European allies, not a speech. I said on Monday.

He also accused Vance of meeting with far-right leaders of the German (AFD) party's country's alternatives, saying that he “goes to the former Nazi Party headquarters in Munich to lead the modern neo-Nazi party in Germany. He claimed he went to meet up with him.”

Despite his pushback to his comments, President Trump defended Vance over the weekend.

“I thought he gave a very good speech. In fact, it's a very great speech,” Trump told White House reporters last week, adding, “Europe has to be careful.”
