Odd shift: NASA decreases odds of massive asteroid striking Earth, yet plots to destroy it

The possibility of a massive space lock that hits the Earth has diminished, but NASA and other space agencies are still devising plans to erase it.

Asteroid 2024 yr4, According to NASA, the recently discovered planet has a 1.5% chance of impacting Earth.

The new probability is down from the previously reported 2.6%, exceeding the first 1% chance in late January, but international organizations are planning ways to destroy terrestrial masses if necessary .

Stadium-sized asteroids are considered “potentially dangerous” by NASA and are expected to travel to “relatively close” Earth

“No one's panic, but that [is] The Kennedy Space Center project manager told the New York Post. You're half-a-this is last minute. ”

Just as the Statue of Liberty is taller, the asteroid is estimated to be between 130 and 300 feet wide.

In December 2032, the estimated end of the world would mercilessly attack the danger of approximately 110 million Earthlings.

According to scientists, the chunks get hot at about 38,000 mph.

It will likely plummet into the Eastern Pacific Ocean, northern South America, the Atlantic Ocean, Africa, the Arabian Sea, or South Asia.

The newly discovered asteroid turns out to be a Tesla Roadster launched into space

As astronomers learn more about the asteroid's path around the Sun, the chances of strikes fluctuate and could ultimately reach zero.

NASA and the European Space Agency's Webb Space Telescope observe this nearby asteroid in March, before the object disappeared from view. I'll be back in 2028.

Asteroids are classified only as Level 3 out of 10 on the Asteroid Hazard Scale, but remain in the ability of “local destruction.”

Alert levels are the second highest recorded since 2004, when Apophis on the asteroid reached level 4, according to previous reports.

Researchers later discovered that Apophis would safely pass through the Earth in 2029.
