Cuban immigrants brought “white powder” to Florida's Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities on Thursday, causing security guards to get sick and evacuated the facility.
The early morning horror took place at Miramar's Ice Miami Field office at 7:15am when immigrants were being screened, an ICE spokesperson told Fox News Digital.
The Hazmat team came down to the 145th Avenue scene and was seen wearing a splash protective suit carrying a mask and a spray gun. After coming out of the facility, they hosed each other down while the sniffer dogs were also deployed.

Florida Sheriffs say ice partnerships are the only beginning of the crackdown on illegal immigration
“Authors were notified immediately, leading to dangerous material responses through the Miramar Fire Rescue and the Broward Sheriff's fire rescue,” the ICE statement read in part. “The building was evacuated and individuals were isolated until powder was identified.”
A uniformed guard who reportedly felt sick after contacting powder came out of the stretcher building, holding his neck. It is unknown whether the guard touched the powder or whether he was sick because it was nearby.
Both Cuban immigrants and security guards were taken to a local hospital as precautions, where they were both treated and released, Ice said.
The Cuban immigrant was arrested by ice and there are pending criminal charges in connection with the case. This comes amid a crackdown on ice against illegal immigration under the new Trump administration. ICE has actively targeted and deported illegal criminal immigrants.

Two other people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, WSVN reported. Officials said one is due to diabetes and the other is due to anxiety and asthma.
According to WSVN, officials said they saw an employee dizzy and faint just before they responded to the scene.

“All clears were given at 9:45am and Ice resumed normal operations,” Ice said. “Aliens or substances are not identified at this time.”
