A former Obama administration official has been accused of swift backlash on social media for trying to defend the number of workers employed by the government.
Steveratner is an advisor to the Secretary of Treasury and is currently speaking out on economic issues on the “Morning Joe” show on MSNBC. He jumped into the debate surrounding federal workers by trying to assert that there was no “inflation” in federal workers over the past decades.

Ratner Posted A graph of the proportion of non-farm private employees that make up federal workers.

He was soon attacked by many who accused him of providing incomplete photos of the actual growth of federal workers.
