French President Emmanuel Macron met President Donald Trump at the White House Monday morning.
The meeting comes after Macron called for an emergency rally for world leaders after the Trump administration ruled out Europe sitting at the negotiation table to resolve the war between Ukraine and Russia.
Macron arrived at the White House around 8am Monday and will be in the next few hours.
The two were expected to take part in a call with the G7 leader.

Today marks the third anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Trump said on Friday that Macron and British Prime Minister Kiel Starmer “haven't done anything” since 2022 to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.

“Trump, I know him. I respect him and I believe he respects me,” Macron said the day before. “I tell him: Deeply you cannot be weakened in the face of the President (Vladimir Putin). It's not you, it's what you're making, it's not your interest.”
