INDIANAPOLIS – Abdul Carter is ready to drop the Eagles fandom for his life if he is charged with a rivalry by the Giants.
He is also ready to show Brian Burns and Cavon Tibode that the three are not in the crowd. At least not with edge lashing.
“My goal is to come and become a man,” Carter said.
“If you go to a team that's already established [rushers]I just want to win my spot. So I'm going to get in and compete soon. ”
Carter could be the third non-Quartarback drafted to No. 1 overall since 2015.
Titans can choose and trade it. Or they and the Browns could choose Shedale Sanders and Cam Ward (in either order) and make Carter available to the Giants at No. 3.
“I feel like the best player in the country,” Carter said. “And you need to choose the best player.”
Carter was born in Philadelphia and his pre-NFL journey reached its climax earlier this month when he and his father saw the Eagles win Super Bowl 2025.
It's the end of the chapter.

“I have a lot of shape through my Philadelphia roots – my toughness, my grit,” Carter said.
“Last year I enjoyed being a fan. Even if the team drafts, I'm still loyal to that team.”
