Trump: ‘Concession Agreement’ with Venezuela will be terminated

President Trump said the Biden-era “concession agreement” with Venezuela would be fired because it would take too long to get the country's retirees back.

“Therefore, as of the March 1 option, we are ordering that it end in order to renew the invalid and unfulfilled Biden's “concession agreement.” ” Trump said true socially. “Thank you for being careful about this issue!”

Trump said he will “overturn concessions” from the “oil trading agreement” starting on November 26, 2022.

That day, President Biden allowed Chevron to pump Venezuelan oil. The country has the largest oil reserves in every country, but Venezuela's production capacity is limited due to US sanctions and lack of investment funds. Biden eased long-standing sanctions through his actions.

Trump did not explicitly appeal to Chevron in his post, but the US did not issue additional licenses that day, Reuters pointed out.

The decision is intertwined with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro's tenure.

In his post, Trump denounced the “electoral status” within Venezuela, claiming that Maduro's administration had failed to meet the concessions given by Biden.

“And the administration is not transporting violent criminals they sent back to our country (good me America) at the rapid pace they agreed to,” Trump said.
