The Democratic-controlled Maine legislature on Tuesday moved Republican Rep. Laurel Libby to oppose transgender athletes' state's extreme left-wing support.
Libby took her to social media to point out that the boy recently robbed girls' opportunities by winning girls' high school track and field events in Maine.
Another example of an inconspicuous biological male athlete (who couldn't beat other men) dominating women's sports on another day.
Libby Added: “The blatant disregard for federal regulations of the Main Principal Association means that the biological girls deserve it have a title torn from them. This is an outrageous inequity for many female athletes who work every day to succeed in their respective sports.”
The post of lawmakers spurred Democratic House Speaker Ryan Fecto to launch a campaign to silence Libby. That was the blame Tuesday night I passed 75-70 votes. According to Fox News, Libby is no longer allowed to speak on the House floor until he gives a formal apology.
After the votes for condemnation were passed, Fecteau announced that the session would take a break, but Libby considered her apology. But Libby was rebellious.
“I told him, 'We don't need to make it easy.'
Libby's social media posts blasted through his name on trans athletes and found him winning this month's track and field event after not competing as a boy last year.
A student, now Katie Spencer, competed at Greeley High School in Cumberland, Maine. After transitioning to girls this year, Spencer joined the girls team and won first place in the pole vault on Monday beating two girls from Freeport High. Class B State Indoor Meeting.
If Spencer had competed as a boy at Monday's tournament, like last year, his score in the girls' pole vault would have left him in the boys category.
Portland Press Herald Also It's attracting attention Greeley defeats Freeport with a single point. So Spencer's score was Greeley to the top to defeat Freeport.
Because Maine Democrats denounced Libby, mentioned Spencer's name and showed a photo of the student in her post.
However, Libby found their reasoning ridiculous.
“This is an amazing double standard as there are public photos of this individual on social media and many places posted by his school. Yes, this post has become a caliber, but this has taken part in a public event, and accepted the championship medal that was legitimately belonging to the girl standing on the podium,” Libby said.
Libby is right. Most of the track's reports use Spencer's name and image at will. But to make this situation even more absurd, most media coverage of Libby's accusations omits Spencer's name and image, essentially with Democrats in Maine, that naming students is somehow inappropriate, despite all the time that has been openly named in previous reports.
Libby also pointed out the video posted. Facebook The Democrats made a coordinated effort to counteract her freedom of speech.
“I couldn't put any words out of the first sentence before the other side closed me down,” Libby said.
Maine has become a spear in President Donald Trump's efforts to refuse to change the federal Title IX rules that would prohibit transgender athletes from playing in girls and women's sports.
Last week, sparred with Trump at a White House meeting between President Trump and many governors of the country, Democrat Janet Mills, the CEO of Maine, to help him take him to court to prevent him from banning him from competing as a Maine girl.
