Homeland Security Secretary Christy Noem has disassembled operations to secure southern borders, targeting the “worst and worst” criminal history that illegally entered the United States in “Hornity.”
Federal immigration agents arrested 16 illegal immigrants trying to flee Mississippi's businesses during workplace raids, authorities said.

“While serving paperwork and interviewing employees, agents observed a large group of individuals running from behind business real estate,” the ICE news release said.
Agents caught 18 people from Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras. The two captured were released with an immigration court date and work permit.

One of the 18 was a 16-year-old Mexican citizen who was detained by the Refugee Resettlement Bureau.
Under federal law, employers must verify the identity and employment eligibility of all workers, Ice said.
