Barstool employee KFC discussed the scandal on his personal social media accounts, and McAfee has filed the charges accused in an interview with Adam Schefter this week, TMZ reported.

“No one in these organizations reached us for comment,” Cornett said. “Most surprising, my personal contact information is illegally shared because it puts my personal safety at risk. Many notes sent even suggest that I will take my life.”

Barstool founder Dave Portnoy denied the charges.

“Barstool Sports, to my knowledge, did not mention or spread the rumor to any barstool-owned channel,” Portnoy said. “Our editors instinctively decided to avoid this story because it seemed likely it was manufactured. If I'm wrong about it, I'm happy to see where it was posted and revisited.”

Regarding KFC's video, Portnoy said: Anything they post is their own. ”

ESPN declined to comment.

Cornett said the situation led her to acquire legal counsel and seek “alternative education/living arrangements.”

“We submitted reports to the University of Mississippi campus police, local police and the FBI,” she wrote. “Don't worry, all criminal charges and civil relief will be sought vigorously.”

Cornett said 100% of her GoFundMe revenues will be used to provide seed capital that establishes a foundation focused on supporting innocent victims of similar honour-loss cyberattacks. The zero money collected here is used for personal purposes. ”
