According to the White House, the FBI is returning property seized during the 2022 Mar-a-Lago attack on President Trump.
“The FBI is giving the president his property taken during the illegal and illegal attacks, White House communications director Stephen Chang said in a statement Friday.
Chong added that several boxes were loaded onto the plane prior to Trump's flight back to Florida on Friday.

The FBI ingested 33 boxes in August 2022 when the court enforced the Mar-a-Lago court as part of an allegedly false investigation of the classified documents, and was suspected of obstructing officials' efforts to retrieve them.
The attack prompted intense criticism of the FBI by Trump and his allies. The president characterized it as unnecessary. He was contacted and returned the records before the attack by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the National Archives.
General Merrick Garland at the time hit on special advisor Jack Smith to investigate whether Trump mishandled the classified records. The lawsuit was fired by US District Judge Irene Cannon in mid-July last year, ruling Smith's appointment was unconstitutional.
“The position of a special advisor effectively robs important legislative authority and transfers it to the head of department, and in the process threatens the structural freedoms inherent in separation of power,” Cannon wrote in the 93-page ruling.
Trump said some of the boxes DOJ returned are in his future presidential library.
“They are [boxes] He was taken to Florida and will one day become part of the Trump Presidential Library. Justice has finally won. I absolutely did nothing wrong. This was just an attack on political opponents that clearly didn't work well,” he said on Friday of the True Society. “Justice in our country will be restored.”
